Types of TV wall mounts

TV wall mounts are important enough and require consideration before you buy them. They come in three major types. These are – low profile, full motion and tilting. All these types are good and helpful when it comes to tv wall mounts. Yet they come with their share of disadvantages as well.

Low profile: typically this type of a TV wall mount is easy to install and has the lowest cost when compared to the other methods tilting and full motion. The process of wall mounting of low profile is as much difficult as it is while hanging a picture frame on the wall. However it is not all good as everything comes with a price. Its inability to adjust the TV once it has been installed can be quite a disappointment. This type of tv wall mount does not tilt on any side and once it has been installed it is absolutely rigid.

Full motion: the full motion wall mount is as its name suggests. It is full motion as they say it. This however comes with a cost as well making this kind of TV mount the most expensive of all the types listed here. In addition to being costly they are also much more complicated to install. It is primarily so because it has moving pieces. The result is that about 2 to 3 people are required to hang these TV mounts.

Tilting: the tilting wall mounts are much lesser than full motion when it comes to costs. They are a little bit costlier than low profile. These can be installed very easily much like the low profile TV wall mounts. The only difference is that here you can adjust the vertical viewing angle of the TV when you are using a tilting TV wall mount.
